Pembroke Welsh Corgi

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a small sized herding breed of dog that originated in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are either born with short or long coats and can be found in colors such as red, sable, black and tan, or tri-colored.

Pembroke Welsh corgis can live up to 12 years or more if provided with proper care and nutrition. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are intelligent dogs who easily learn things by watching their owners and rarely need any sort of formal training. Pembroke Welsh corgis make an excellent watch dog because they are highly observant in nature and do not let anyone come close without making a sound. Pembroke Welsh Corgis can live with other dogs but may get aggressive if not trained properly. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are also good in living with cats.
